Lynae K. Quimby, LMT

Lynae began evening classes in massage in 2005, six weeks after back surgery. She completed the 22 month program in 2007 with passing of the New York State Boards. She received high scores on her National Certification.

 

Lynae has enjoyed taking continuing educational classes in Acupressure, Positional Release, Massage Cupping Therapy, Bodywork for Fibromyalgia, Hot Stone Massage, Psychology of Massage, Craniosacral Therapy and numerous classes through the Institute for Brain Potential. She has massaged in conjunction with local Chiropractors since 2007

.

Lynae retired from full time employment at the Schoharie County District Attorney's Office  in 2021. This enabled her to devote more time to providing healing therapeutic massage and to spend more time with family, including babysitting her 5 granddaughters.  In addition to spending time with family, Lynae enjoys hiking, running, swimming, yoga and playing the piano. She is the Organist for her church in Sharon Springs New York. Some of her accomplishments include running numerous half marathons and a full marathon. She also completed hiking the  46 Adirondack high peaks in the summer of 2021.

 

Lynae focuses on reducing pain, soothing injured muscles, stimulating blood, lymphatic and chi circulation and promoting deep relaxation.
